.... we brought the boys over to France to see the house that was to become our home and gite here in Normandy.

This was the gite then - a cow shed and hay barn.

If you look through the photos on this website you can see how it has all changed rather since then!

Oh and look how small the boys were ...

This photo was taken at Jurques Zoo which is just 20mins from the gite.  2 young boys about to embark on a new life in France only knowing one French word - bonjour.  Now both taller than me and both are bilingual.
