Soubock Music Venue, Cauville, Normandy

I would imagine that when you think about what to do within 15 minutes of Eco-Gites of Lenault, going to a rock concert may not be your first thought.  But you would be wrong as in fact, LESS than 15 minutes from the gite is Soubock, a custom built concert venue.  We finally we got our act together on Saturday and went to watch THE MAIN STREET NEGRITAS, a tribute band to The Rolling Stones.

We decided to have the meal beforehand so for €24 each we got a 2 course meal and rock concert over 2 hours long.  THE MAIN STREET NEGRITAS are pretty good although we did feel that the lead singer might have been better not trying to emulate Mick Jagger: his singing was good but his prancing left a bit to be desired! The drummer and guitarists were, however, excellent.  Sorry about the quality of the photo as it was taken on Simon's phone:
